Arizona based Latin pop duet Cima was formed by musicians Oscar Peralta and Ricky Wascher, who, after participating in different bands in the U.S. and Mexico, decided to create their own project, mostly influenced by '80s Latin rock numbers. In the year 2001 the act made its debut with the release of an album called La Elegancia De La Imaginación, mainly an acoustic work based on romantic lyrics.
